Unique Irish Tour From Family Stories

Every family’s connection to Ireland is different, and that’s why I never start with a template. When Tricia Murtagh and her family approached me, their priority was to reconnect with their Irish relatives — the Murtaghs in Cork and the Sweeneys in Cong, Co. Mayo.

Those family visits became the foundation of the entire tour.

Building an Itinerary

Once I knew their travel dates and what they hoped to experience during their time in Ireland, I began building the itinerary around those special reunions. Their interests included history, emigration, visiting a whiskey distillery, exploring the west coast, and experiencing authentic Irish culture.

By weaving these interests between the family visits, I created a six-day chauffeur-driven guided journey that allowed them to reconnect with their roots while also discovering some of the most beautiful and meaningful places in Ireland.

This is the kind of travel experience I love creating most, the journeys that are shaped around people, stories, and connections rather than simply hitting the famous landmarks.
